Privacy Policy
Effective September 16, 2026
NevadaList is a static directory. You can read every page without creating an account, and we only receive personal information about you if you choose to send it through a contact form. This policy explains what happens when you do, and what else is processed in the background to keep the site running.
What we collect
Contact form submissions. When you send an inquiry from a listing, we receive what you typed: your name, your email address or phone number, your message, and which business the inquiry is about. That is the only information we ask you for.
No accounts, no advertising trackers. We don't offer user accounts, and we don't set advertising or analytics cookies.
Server logs and security. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Contact forms may additionally be protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a bot and may process browser signals (and set a cookie) for that purpose. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles this data.
How your inquiry is used
Your inquiry is delivered to us by email so it can be passed to the business you selected, and the business may reply to you directly at the contact details you gave. We use your inquiry only to connect you with that business and to respond to you; we don't add you to mailing lists and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
- The business you asked about, so it can respond to your inquiry.
- Service providers that run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and bot protection) and Resend (email delivery of inquiries). They process data on our behalf to provide those services.
- Authorities, if the law requires it — for example a valid legal request.
That's the whole list. There is no sale or sharing of personal data for advertising.
Information about listed businesses
Listing pages are built from public records — state licensing exports — and from information businesses publish on their own websites. This is business information, not visitor data. If you own or represent a listed business and want something corrected, use the contact form on your listing.
Retention
Inquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, then deleted. The site itself stores nothing about you in a database.
Your choices and rights
You can browse the entire site without giving us any personal information. If you've sent an inquiry and want a copy of it or want it deleted, ask through the contact form on any listing (mention that your message is for NevadaList) and we'll handle it.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If our practices change — for example, if we add analytics or user accounts — this policy will be updated first and the effective date above will change.
